I want to welcome your child (and you!) to Bridge. It's going to be an awesome year and I look forward to helping these new LPM graduates continue in their musical careers! Here are some IMPORTANT things to note:
Our weekly class will be on Mondays from 4:30 - 5:30, starting on August 24th. The third week of class falls on Labor Day. (1) Would you rather skip that week or would it be okay to have class?
Before we jump into regular Bridge classes we need to brush up on our piano skills. I would like to have Bridge Prep Camp on August 11th, 12th, 18th, and 19th from 9:30 - 11:30. This camp will use the Let's Play Music Connections material (as shown below) and will jump start the students with new technique skills and familiarize
them with the computer program that we will be using throughout the
year. The camp is included in your monthly tuition. (2) Do these dates and times work for your family?
Parents aren't required (although they are welcome) to attend Bridge lessons, but I would like to get to know you and introduce you to the program at Parent Orientation. We will talk about the books and flashcards (also below), curriculum details, and I will tell you about my reward system. (3) Are you available to attend Parent Orientation on Thursday, August 20th at 7:00?
